- New website baked for Sallie with love, by Paul
Golden Seal Birmans (GoldenSealBirmans.com) first appeared on the web in Dec 1999. The website at that time was dynamically created by my original unix scripts from hand-coded html and image files.
In 2011 I converted to using Microsoft Frontpage technology for reasons long forgotten, but since we had migrated most of our Birman outreach to Facebook, that site lingered well past its sell-by date.
In September 2023, to celebrate Sallie's 80th birthday, I have brought it up to date using the latest technology of the Joomla! CMS.
Most of the original HTML files I was able to port into the new site, so some formatting is still a bit wacky, but most of the original content and history from 1999 is now preserved on this updated site. For reference and nostalgia purposes the original site from 1999 can still be viewed on the Wayback Machine internet archive and the old Frontpage site at this link.
Many of the referenced resource sites within this site's pages no longer exist. These links have not been replaced or eliminated on these new pages. The curious may use the Wayback Machine to trace the original referenced pages or just search for equivalent information resources.

P.S. If you've got an out-dated website that needs rejuvenating, then perhaps I can help.
